Pros and cons of Easy Invoice app for iPhone and iPad

Easy Invoice app good for

Im using Easy Invoice since the beginning of the current tax year on 1 March 16 and Im very happy with it. Setting up the company and products was quick and straight forward. So is creating and sending an invoice, which I do onsite while still with the client. I now often get paid before I walked back to my car. Three little settings I would like to see changed. While the wording Sales Invoice works for me I would like to be able to edit it to just Invoice or Tax Invoice, both of which are more common than Sales Invoice here. I would love to be able to edit the text used in the email. While I can do this every time in Mail before sending the invoice it would be great if I could edit the default text in the Easy Invoice app. The backup to Dropbox works well. Recovery too. I used it when I changed phone successfully twice already. I would like to see more options for the backup reminder. Like daily and weekly. Also backup to iCloud might be handy. But none of the two are deal breakers for me. Especially since the app is free. I wouldnt mind paying a once off fee for the app.
As a freelancer, I find this app to be the best from what Ive tested. Im using it for more than 2 years now and I have no complaints.
I ise this app daily for my construction contracting business. Easy to use and makes great looking invoices and statements.

It has all of the options that the other apps have, however, it is free to use with no limit. This is absolutely the best part, and I am very glad I found this app
I generally dont provide ratings for apps. I have made a day exception to leave a review for this app as it really deserves one. The ease of navigation, adding more devices, syncing between my phone and computer, its very sophisticated yet so simple and easy to use. I couldnt be more pleased and highly recommend it.

Some bad moments

I dont mind to pay subscriptions, but you just cant forbid me to open my previous made invoices to back them up. and I totally understand apps cant run well without $$ support but subscription is pretty high and customer support is not supportive as I contacting them twice in past year they never reply. I switched to "invoice simple" which is much easier and cheaper.
Was a descent app until they lock all of your data and start charging without any notice. Kind of a sleazy way of getting customers. I used to recommend it to my family and friends but that will stop as I cant support a business with such ethics. They could have quit support for this product and launched a new app if they were desperate for sales. Instead they just lock you out of your free app and hijack your data (you will have to re enter all your stuff in another app), or pay for what you have entered in the past. I would consider this a 5 star app before the hijack but would give it the lowest 0 stars if possible just for their way of getting customers. Perhaps someday they will go back to good business practice and I will give them 5 stars again. I would also like to point out to anyone using this app DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE LATEST VERSION!!! This is how they lock you out!!! then you need to pay them to use your own data! I saw other reviews of other users switching. I personally switched to "Invoice Easy" not to be confused with this app that has easy before invoice. So far I like it even better than this app in some ways. It is also FREE with no data hijacking. If you too already ran the update you may want to check it out as well. Stay tuned.....
The update locks all your data if you dont want to use the online version. It makes it a all pay version.
This app has been exactly what I needed to help keep track of my 10 piano students. I opened it today and Im suddenly being forced to pay for a subscription I dont even want?? All my information is now being held hostage until I sign up for an account. Im getting a different app.
Have used this app for years with keeping up with my clients. And loved it. Now it wants me to pay $34 for a subscription. And cannot access my information except in read only. This is so crappy of you guys to do this to the users that built your brand for you. Because if we dont download it you wont last out here. Now you want to make big profits. Well guess what buddies? It aint $34 good. So you can have it. Such a dumb move.
Would give zero stars for your recent actions if I could. Used for years and was free until recent update now theyve decided to hold all customer data as "read only" unless I subscribe to online sync $33.99. Thanks for the warning guys you just unnecessarily lost a customer.
